I want a glow-in-the-dark kitty!

Your question, of course, will be, what does this have to do with law? Well, there are some legal aspects to cloning a glow-in-the-dark kitty. Animal rights activists will be concerned about the future of animal-testing. The ability to infect DNA with viruses that will produce a cat that glows in the dark means scientists will be able to infect other animals with human diseases in order to test out drugs and procedures and so forth. Conversely, there is a relief in ethical dilemnas in that this will provide a viable alternative to human testing.

On the other hand, a glow-in-the-dark kitty is really cool! It glows! In the dark!
